Gamer for 40 years, has SRGP chops
I love 86-year-old gamer Hilda Knott because she is one of us.This BBC clipon her shows that she plays real games — not Facebook social and mobile crap — and has real gamer cred. NotSolitaire, butGrand Theft Auto. She plays on a 65-inch television, using a new slim model PS3.
When asked why she still plays after 40 years, she says that she appreciates how games keep her mentally active. But with that copy ofDisgaea 4on the table I’d bet her appreciation of gaming goes way deeper than that. Look at her blowing through those menus (see 2:25 mark)!
