In a message to backers, developer Enigami explained the prolonged development schedule: “As you may remember, when the Kickstarter campaign ended, the console Stretch goal wasalmost reachedbut not quite. We decided to validate it anyway. We are glad we did it becauseShinesswill be available to a wider audience. However, this decision cost us a great deal of energy, sinceShinessis the first game we have developed. It is also the main reason why the game was delayed and we apologize for this.”
