“We’ve been waiting for the right story and opportunity to bringTrue Crimeto a new generation of gamers in 2010,” she’s quoted as saying in a press release. “United Front Games has the vision to bring this new undercover game experience to life, where fans will play out their own epic Hong Kong action thriller.”

True Crimeputs players in the undercover shoes of detective Wei Shen, who is attempting to infiltrate Hong Kong’s Triad crime syndicate. Activision is hinting at a moral balancing act, which may have players making tough decisions that could influence the outcome of certain undercover assignments.True Crimeappears to be open world, featuring martial arts, gunfights, drivign, and “acrobatic free-running chases.”

The game is scheduled for a Fall 2010 release for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC.
