How to Enchant in Prospecting
You can enchant your pan inProspectingusing Aurorite or Aetherite. There arethree stepsto enchanting pans which are the location, the materials you need, and the pan you want to enchant:
If you want to enchant another pan or switch enchants you’ll have to use a new Aurorite or Aetherite each time.

Below you’ll find all the possible pan enchants inProspectingalong with their roll chances and effects. Note that enchanting the pan again will just reroll your enchant. Enchant rerolls use another Aurorite or Aetherite. All in all, it’s always better to think ahead and farm for a better pan then to enchant the ones from the starting area.Note that Aetherite will allow you to get Divine and Cosmic and it will also exclude the weaker enchants from the possible results.
Best Enchants in Prospecting
The best enchants inProspectingare Divine and Cosmic using Aetherite. That said, those based around either Luck or Sell Boosts are a good place to start. For beginners it’sLucky (10%)for Luck orGreedy (5%)for selling are great starting ones. Then go the Aetherite ones or forMidas (1%)for maximum sell boosts orBlessed (1%)for +10 Luck. Each point of Luck rerolls your chances for a higher quality Mineral keeping the best result, so the more Luck you have the more chances at rolling higher rarity Minerals. Shake boosts and Capacity don’t matter that much since you’ll usually stand close to water when digging anyway.
