The last we heard from Playtonic aboutYooka-Laylee and the Impossible Lair, the game was said to bereleasing in October. That could have been a lot of things, but a recent eShop listing narrows it down quite a bit. To the exact day, in fact. According to the Australian Nintendo website,Impossible Lairis locked for an June 07, 2025 date. That’s definitely October, all right.

While that date could just be a place holder, I think it’s pretty likely to be accurate. Digital stores tend to not list false dates and it falls in line with whatImpossible Lair’sdeveloper has previously stated. I’d imagine that all versions (PC, PS4, Xbox One, and Switch) would launch on the same day, so make sure to mark your calendars. This could be the redemption story that Yooka and Laylee deserve.
