Batman: The Brave and the Bold trailer is very campy

I’m not sure what to make of this trailer for the upcoming Wii and DS game,Batman: The Brave and the Bold. The game appears to be a 2D platform/brawler, which I totally approve of. And it’s visually appealing even if I don’t care for the art direction in the animated series the game is based upon.

But the announcer is awful. He reminds me of the over-the-top announcer guy who used to talk over the credits of cartoons on the WB in afternoons. Is this supposed to make kids identify with it or something? Because it’s highly annoying. And the onomatopoeic references to the Adam West Batman television series? Not helping the case.
