Looking pretty fleshy there, Peep

The Binding of Isaac: Rebirthis one of my most anticipated games of 2013. The new sprite-based graphics and the promise of additional content is giving me the vapors. The originalIsaaclooks great too, but this new“16-bit” stylemakes the game feel new again, while simultaneously tricking my subconscious into the idea thatIsaachas been around since the ’90s, and that I’m just discovering it now for the first time.

IsaaccreatorEdmund McMillenandRebirthpublisherTyrone Rodriguezhave been showing off updates of the new art on Twitter, so if you want to be kept up to date on the game’s progress, give ’em a follow. Tyrone is a bastard though. He’s quick to tease us with awesome stuff that will probably never make it to the final release, likea tearful Reggie Fils-Aime, in game art ofEdmund and his wife Danielle, and even anAtari 2600 version of theIsaac.

I would pay top dollar for all of those features. Quit playing games with my heart, Tyrone.
