ININ Games has announced that it’s ultra-cute arcade multiplayer titleBubble Bobble 4 Friendswill come bouncing onto PS4 this winter, bringing with it “greatly expanded” content.
Originally released on Nintendo Switch in November 2019,Bubble Bobble 4 Friendsfeatures all of the colurful and engaging single-screen action of Taito’s 1986 classic, but offers a fresh modern look, remixed sound and music, and all-new four-player co-operative gameplay. All of the old-school mechanics have returned, including giant fruits and cakes, EXTEND bonuses, and the return of gaming’s most terrifying villain, Baron von Blubba.
The PS4 port ofBubble Bobble 4 Friendswill include a run of new stages and game modes, both of which will be added to the Switch edition as a free update. ININ Games are also hosting a fun fan-art competition, with 10 talented folk getting the prestige of seeing their art featured in the game’s credit sequence.
