Dale North, Tim Sheehy and myself were lucky enough to attend a specialChild of Edenevent at Tokyo Game Show. Footage will be a few days before we can tell you about what we saw, but I’m sure Ubisoft wouldn’t mind if I let this tiny snippet slip.

After playing the game, I asked product manager Lindsay Gray if there was any chance that it may come to the Wii or the Nintendo 3DS. Lindsay couldn’t help but laugh at me. “Not a chance!” he bellowed, with a vigorous chuckle that nearly knocked me over.

With the way third-party Wii sales have been lately, I wasn’t much surprised when he shot the console down, but the 3DS is a different story. I wondered if the problem stemmed from the 3DS’s lack of HD support. Actually, my exact words were “So, you don’t think your game will be fun unless it’s played in HD?” His response was quite candid — “This game is an audio/visual experience. HD is very important to that.”
