RPG experiences are known to be extremely difficult for new players to pick up. That’s mostly due to the lack of tutorials and pointers from the game on what you should do. So, to help you with your first steps, here is our completebeginner’s guide for theParadoxRoblox experience.

Character Creation in Paradox
InParadox, you start withonly one character slot, and you canget more by usingcodesor bypaying 100 Robuxfor each extra slot. There are three races you can pick:Soul Reaper,Quincy, andArrancar. Each has a different progression and different end-game builds. Choose which you pick wisely, aschanging race isn’t possible without wiping your slot.

How to Redeem Codes in Paradox
Codesare the best source of Rerolls, and some otheritemsinParadox. To redeem them, click onSettingsin the top left and then Switch to theCode tab. Type or copy-paste the code into the input field and click Redeem Code to claim it. Codes forParadoxarecase-sensitiveand alwaysfull lowercase.
Soul Reaper Progression in Paradox
Soul Reaper progression is fairly straightforward early on inParadox. The first thing you should do ispress “,” on your keyboardto see allNPC locations. Then, head to theDivision Trainerto start doing missions. In general,Scavenger Hunt(click on pink squares) andFind The Impostor(just kill all defenseless NPCs) are the easiest.
When you reach75 potential, you’ll have to take aSoul Reaper exam. To find the exam place, head all the way to the right side ofSoul Societyrelative to the giant stairs in the middle. Once there, enter theyellow houseand head to thelast classroom on the left. Sit down to start taking the test and click these answers:
After you finish the test, spam more missions until you get a prompt to fight Kisuke. For this fight, you’ll have to head toKatakura Town (KT)by using theGateskill (press thekey above Tabto open your backpack). Once you’vedefeated Kisuke,continue doing missionsuntil you reach the next potential breakpoint.
The last part will require you to meditate a few times (pressN) withinSoul Society. Thefirst meditationwill prompt an Osu-like game where you have toclick 1-2-3-4on your keyboard as the numbers appear on your screen. Thesecond meditationwill prompt an Osu Mania-like game where you have to hit 1-2-3-4 as they reach the line at the bottom. Thethirdand final meditation will prompt afight with your Shikai, after which you’llunlock your Shikai special moves.
Quincy Progression in Paradox
Quincy progression inParadoxismuch easier than that of Soul Reapers. The first part is the same as for Soul Reapers, as you just need to do missions. After you’ve reached the potential breakpoint, visitDigikiin Wandenreich to start the Schrift obtainment process.
The first task from Digiki is tospar with Giselle, who is to the left of Digiki. Her fight isn’t that hard, and using abow(pressVto switch to it) makes it trivial. After you defeat her, you’ll need to fight other Quincy to obtainThe Piece of Order. The chance for any Quincy to drop it on death is1 in 5.
The final step is to go back to Digiki and start theSchrift battles. There are a total ofthree battleswhere youfight your clone, and using thebow, like with Giselle, makes it extremely easy. After you’ve defeated your clones, you’llunlock your Schrift.
Arrancar Progression in Paradox
Arrancar progression inParadoxis atrocious, and if it existed in medieval times, it would’ve been used as a torture tool. The first part isn’t hard and requires you tokill ~15 other Arrancarto go fromFishbonetoMenos Grande. As Menos Grande, you need tocontinue killing Arrancar. There is no counter for this one, but around25seems to be enough. Use yourcritical (R)to laser them from range.
The real fun starts once you’ve gone from Menos Grande to anAdjuchas. Here, you’ll have tokill ~170 other Arrancarto become aVasto Lorde. This process roughly takes abouttwo hours if you’re aloneand half of that if you’re doing it with more people. The only good thing is that you can flash-step as an Adjuchas.
Once you’ve become a Vasto Lorde, you’ll need totake off your maskbyholding down Ctrl + Kand become aVastocar. Now, you can finally start taking missions at theArrancar Hubnear the castle in Hueco Mundo.
The next parts of the Arrancar progression are the Incomplete and Complete Resurrection. These take quite a bit of time, and we’ll create aseparate guide for them after the release.
Should You Use Rerolls Right Away in Paradox?
Generally, there is no reason to hold back when using rerolls, especially when you’re able to get so many through codes. However, if you’re playing on multiple slots, try tospread them out a bitso your other slots don’t get stuck with thrash attributes. You cantransfer itemsbetween slots by storing them at theBank NPC in Katakura Town.
Stats (Skill Trees) in Paradox Explained
There arefour Stats(Skill Trees)inParadox,and each has its own set of moves. By increasing a specific stat, you unlock moves that are tied to it, and they becomepossible choiceswhen you useSkill Gems/Crystals/Cores.
If you already acquired all the moves you unlocked, usingSkill Gems/Crystals/Cores will have no effect. So, save Cores (which give the most cards) for later, anduse only Gems and Crystals early on.
