You go first, I’ll be right behind you…

Developer SadSquare Studio has announced that its terrifying psychological horror,Visage, will be launching on PS4, PC, and Xbox One on October 30, just in time for Halloween.

InVisage, players will enter an old Gothic mansion loaded for bear with memories of ghastly and violent events – which kind of raises the question as to why you’d visit in the first place. As players wander the corridors of this grim homestead, stories of the past and its previous occupants and visitors will be revealed, offering clues that must be pieced together in order to reveal the truth behind the house and our protagonist’s connection to it.

Defenseless in this quest against the vengeful dead,Visagehopes to attack the player’s very sanity, with constantly changing environments and numerous tricks and traps to leave the audience on the edge of their seat and unable to believe the evidence of their own eyes… It’s too spoopy for me, is what I’m basically saying.

But if you have the wherewithal for it, then maybe you can check outVisagethis witching weekend. The first two chapters are available now on Steam Early Access, with the full game launching October 30. What have you to lose? Except your MIIIIIIIIIIIIINNNND!
