The best perks and attachments for the Speleologist in Destiny 2
The Speleologist machine gun is part of theRapid-Fire Frame archetypeof machine guns. This not only tends to make the weapon dump ammo much faster than other machine guns, but also gives the weapon much deeper reserves and a faster reload speed when the magazine is fully emptied. This makes the weapon best for clearing out waves of enemies rather than larger targets, so we want perks and attachments that play into that. As such, we’ll be taking the following:
Arrowhead Brake is a great utility barrel, giving us much better recoil and handling speed. With a machine gun like this, recoil control is immensely important. The Tactical Mag brings us stability, reload speed, and magazine size, all things that will greatly improve the Speleologist’s potential. Envious Assassin causes the weapon to be overfilled from reserves when killing with other weapons, playing into how you’ll be using your first and second weapon slots for other roles. Finally, we come toIncandescent, which helps scorch nearby targetsand improves how quickly you clear groups of enemies. It’s a great perk, no matter the weapon.
