Once you’ve completed theDawntrailMSQ inFinal Fantasy XIV, you’re probably going to be looking for thenext thing to focus on. If you want to get your hands on some sought after crafting materials or items, these are a safe bet.

If you’re going in order of the Shared FATEs screen, you’ll likely head to Kozama’uka after completing the required 66 FATEs in Urqopacha. Kozama’uka is filled with FATEs, which spawn pretty quickly, and there’s a lot of bonus FATEs which offer increased amounts of EXP and Bicolor Gemstones.

How do Shared FATEs work in Dawntrail?

Unlike in bothShadowbringersandEndwalker, you’ll only need to complete 66 FATEs in each area to complete Rank 3. This is 20 less than previous expansions, so there’s not much excuse to avoid doing this grind.

Once the last 40 FATEs are completed, you’ll have full access to the local Gemstone Trader and all of their wares.

Where is the Gemstone Trader in Kozama’uka?

To find the Gemstone Trader in Kozama’uka, head to Ok’hanu and cross the bridge to the north west of the Aetheryte there. The Gemstone Trader here is called Kunuhali, and can be found at (X:17.4, Y:11.0).
