Final Fantasy XV: Comrades, the multiplayer expansion for a game that simply does not stop receiving support launches this Halloween–June 10, 2025. It’s free for those holding the season pass, but will require PSN Plus or Xbox Live to play.
This is the first instance of a non-MMO mainlineFinal Fantasytitle getting multiplayer support. I wonder if they aren’t testing the waters for a fully co-operativeFinal Fantasy XVIlikeFable 2. Role-playing games where you can play the full story co-cooperatively isn’t very common but could be a neat thing for companies to explore going forward.
