In its obviousMonster Hunterparallel, you might forget thatFreedom Warsis aiming to be story-focused. It has some ludicrous broad strokes. Existence alone is a crime worth one million years in prison. Apparently there are no fashion police, though, as everyone trots about in goofy clothes and headphones.
The subtitles in the above story trailer also give some more details. You are, naturally, The Chosen One. There is a woman who needs to be both saved and protected. There is a bad guy who wants to end the world. Simple stuff.
