Electronic Arts is bringingG.I. JOE The Rise of Cobrato the Nintendo DS. Don’t believe me? Check out these screens. Yep. They’re totally for the DS version ofG.I. JOE The Rise of Cobra. You love them don’t you?
The interesting thing to take from this title is its camera perspective. It’s all top down, grittyG.I. JOEaction — the way it was meant to be, I’m sure. There are eleven playable characters — five from COBRA and six from G.I. JOE — and around twenty missions.Wowza!
If I did my job, I have you rolling your eyes right now. But, wait — things aren’t all what they seem. Backbone Entertainment is developing the title. These are the guys that handledBomberman Live,1942: Joint Strike, andSuper Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix. They’ve had some stinkers, sure, but I have hope thatG.I. JOE The Rise of Cobramight not turn out so bad. We’ll see when it hits this summer.
