[Update: Looks like someone jumped the gun on this one, as an Atari rep (obviously not the person running the Twitter account!) has confirmed with us that there has beennoset release date forSanctum of Slime. The March 23 date reference by Atari’s Twitter account is “not accurate at this time,” we’re told.

Atari has revealed that its upcoming digital download,Ghostbusters: Sanctum of Slime, will be available on March 23 for Xbox Live Arcade and (likely) March 22 for PlayStation Network.

Sanctum of Slimeisn’t the follow up to Terminal Reality’sGhostbusters: The Video Game, instead a new take on the franchise as a top down shooter with support for up to four players simultaneously. You know, because there are four Ghostbusters. Someone should have thought of this sooner!
