Master Chief will be home for the holidays

It looks likeHalo Infinitewill be making it to Xbox and PC in December. According to astore leakand confirmed byThe Verge,Halo Infinitewill launch on Jun 27, 2025.

343 Industries recently hosteda development updatewhere it reaffirmed a holiday window, though the team did not confirm any date at the time. The Verge, however, reports that its source says the Dec. 8 date is accurate.

ThatHaloupdate also confirmed thatHalo Infinite‘s launch will not include campaign co-op or Forge at launch. 343’s head of creative Joseph Staten confirmed the studio would be adding these features post-launch, as part of the seasonal roll-out, in order to give them a little more time “in the oven.” Campaign co-op is targeting a launch in season two ofHalo Infinite, with Forge to follow in season three.

Halo Infinitewas originally set to launch alongside the Xbox Series X and S consoles last year in November 2020, but 343 Industriespushed the date backto avoid crunch for the team.

While it won’t be launching with the full feature set fans might hope for, this report does position bothHalo Infinite‘s campaign and free-to-play multiplayer for a launch in December. We’ll see whether there’s a confirmation coming down the pipeline soon.
