Just when you thought they couldn’t come up with a different type of Mario, Cloud Mario appears. Or floats up. He was included in a collection of screens fromSuper Mario Galaxy 2that you’ll see a bit later in the day, but we thought he deserved his own post.
The image suggests that Mario can generate cloud steps…? Isn’t that cheating, Mario? Dude, I could have used that power many Mario games ago. Wait, isn’t that like a Bee Mario power? And what is his buddy/enemy Lakitu going to think now?
Regardless of whether he’s cheating or not, you have to love his new hat!
