After playingSingStarfor twelve hours in the name of charity, I must confess that I’ve gained a new appreciation for singing games. It’s little wonder, then, that I am actually looking forward to Microsoft’sLips, even if the above commercial seems to suggest that only total pricks play it.

I don’t know what it is about games aimed at the “casual” market, but it seems that their creators feel compelled to portray the intended consumer as a detestable retard. Literallyallcommercials for these types of games play out exactly the same. It’s surprising that the industry hasn’t just decided to re-use the same advert and change the game logos where appropriate. It’d save money during these bleak economic times.
