Now that herrelationship woesare a thing of the past andDots & Daisiesis up and running,Disney Dreamlight Valley‘s newest feathered entrepreneur wants to turn her attention to reinstating the Dreamlight Gazette, including her advice column, Ask Daisy.
However, rather than simply offering advice, Daisy is insistent that she needs to go full Daisy to fix the issues presented to her by select villagers, and she obviously can’t do that alone. To complete Ask Daisy, you’ll need to help two villagers in two separate side quests.
How to complete Ask Daisy inDisney Dreamlight Valley
Before Daisy can begin doling out her advice, she’ll need an Advice Box, which will be your responsibility to make. To make it, you’ll need the following resources:
Once you have these items, craft Daisy’s Advice Box (found within the Functional Items tab) and then return to Daisy.
How to help Minnie with her special report inDisney Dreamlight Valley
Once she has her Advice Box, Daisy tells you to go talk to Minnie while you wait for some problems to be submitted.
Minnie is writing a special report and is looking for some photographs to accompany it. To help her, take photos of the following three things:
Once you’ve got these photos, give them to Minnie and enjoy her praise.
With that done, head to Daisy’s house and check on the Advice Box outside. Some letters will pop out onto the ground, so pick them up and then go and find Daisy. Most of the problems require simple advice, but a couple of the letters require “direct action”. You’ll need to complete two separate quests to move on to the next step:
How to complete Vanellope: The Next Level inDisney Dreamlight Valley
To complete this quest, Daisy instructs you to give Vanellope a makeover. For anyone who has any knowledge of Vanellope, this plan seems like a disaster waiting to happen, but there’s no convincing Daisy that she might have the wrong idea.
Find Minnie, who will tell you that Daisy has already told her about Vanellope’s request (because confidentiality and anonymity don’t exist to Daisy, apparently), and Minnie has already designed the perfect dress for Vanellope’s makeover, but she needs some materials:
Make sure you have these items in your inventory and then return to Minnie, who will provide you with the ‘Dress to Impress’.
Take the dress to Vanellope and she will, predictably, think that Daisy misunderstood her request for advice. Despite this, she finds confidence in herself, so Daisy’s plan worked in a roundabout kind of way.
Head back to Daisy to tell her what Vanellope thought.
How to complete Kristoff: A Romantic in the Making inDisney Dreamlight Valley
As it turns out, Kristoff has asked for help preparing a romantic surprise for Anna, though considering how over the top her plan for Vanellope was, it’s safe to say that her plans for Kristoff are somehow even more extravagant.
Daisy’s plan to help Kristoff woo Anna has two components which, at first glance, seem pretty normal:
In order to complete this quest, you’ll need to place or drop 20 flowers around Arendelle Castle and then water them. You can do this in one of two ways – either have the flowers in your inventory and then drop them around you, or enter the furniture menu and move flowers to the area surrounding Arendelle Castle. Once the flowers are in place, you’ll need to water them.
Don’t worry if this messes with your aesthetic or design choices, you can remove the flowers as soon as you’ve completed this step.
Next, you’ll need to cook 10 Cocoa-based meals. The easiest option here is Hot Cocoa, which requires three ingredients:
Once you’ve made 10 Cocoa-based meals, take them to Kristoff to see how the plan went down with Anna. Predictably, it didn’t go well, and Anna thought that Kristoff was trying to apologize for something (or that they were otherwise under attack from magical flowers), and Kristoff didn’t seem too happy with the ‘Advice’ Daisy gave.
Return to Daisy to give her the bad news.
How to make Mother Gothel relax inDisney Dreamlight Valley
After talking to Daisy, head straight to the Advice Box and pick up any letter that fall out. As it turns out, there’s only one and it’s from Mother Gothel. Daisy says, rather angrily, that Mother Gothel is challenging her competence to give advice. You know it’s a weird day when you agree with Mother Gothel.
Rather than ignore the hate from Mother Gothel, Daisy thinks that the best way forward is to decorate the Glade of Trust in an effort to help Mother Gothel relax.
To complete this step, place the following items somewhere in the Glade:
Strangely, placing decor items on the table does not count towards this objective, so make sure you put them down on the floor somewhere. Once you’ve done this, find Mother Gothel and talk to her to see what she thinks.
After listening to (and likely agreeing with) Mother Gothel, head back to Daisy and talk to her once more to finish the quest and be rewarded with the Advice Box.
