The Beast Glove failed to meet expectations, as it didn’t feature any unique animations or allow players to equip a camo on it. Instead of reeling the monetization practices in, Activision one-upped itself and released an even more expensive cosmetic item.

This promotion event runs from April 10-24. Activision clarified that the limit is one code per eligible order and a maximum of five codes per household. Additionally, Codes will be delivered to the email address provided at checkout, and may not be sent immediately. Activision also confirmed that any items purchased as part of the offer cannot be cancelled or returned, and this is only a limited-time offer while supplies last.
Community members are sure to have conflicting opinions over a cosmetic item costing $100. But based on recent trends, it doesn’t look like Activision has any plans to stop pushing the envelope further if players are still willing to make a purchase.
