There are many stylish fighters to recruit to your party inHonkai: Star Rail. And as you blast through your Warps and explore the world, you might think to yourself: dang, I’d like some pictures of them! Well, there’s good news:Honkai Star Raildoes, indeed, have a photo mode.
Taking photos isn’t the most obvious function of your in-game cellular device, but it sure is a handy one. It’s useful for getting gorgeous pics of your favorite characters, or keeping a record of the mysteries you stumble across. Heck, it’s even used in a quest fairly early on, in one of the game’s first hub areas.
How to access photo mode inHonkai Star Rail
To flip on the camera, just head to the main menu and hit the camera button on the right-hand side.
Hitting this will pop open a photo mode with a decent number of features, to snap pics of your current lead character or of the world around you.
How to use the camera inHonkai Star Rail
There are options for first-person view, removing the lead character, taking out logos or identifying information, shift a character’s gaze, and more.
Honkai Star Rail‘s camera also has emote options, so you can see them making grumpy, sad, or excited faces.
It’s the type of feature that makes complete sense forHonkai Star Rail. After you spend all that time, energy, and possibly even cashrollingfor your favorite character, you’re obviously going to want some good pics of them. Also, who doesn’t love a photo mode?
That said, it’s nice to see a camera mode with a decent number of options like this. If you’re looking to capture perfect shots of your favorite roster, these tools should get you most of the way there. For everything else, commission your local artist.
