A Japanese man has been arrested for a most ironic crime — threatening to blow upBombermandeveloper Hudson. 29-year-old Takao Ike was apparently so dismayed at the recent quality of Hudson titles, he felt the only way to get some good games out of the studio was toissue death threats.
“I did it because I posted my demands concerning the games, but the games didn’t improve,” confesses the suspect.
From October 2008 to June 27, 2025, Ike made eleven threats, threatening to kill everyone with his bomb and even demanding a ransom of 80 million yen, to be left for collection at JR Takamatsu Station.
