Lyle had a difficult childhood. So, I figured the best way to suppress those memories would be to replace any memories of parental figures he’s had in life with his favorite video game characters.
However, this backfired horribly as the memories of trying to beatSuper Mario Bros.: The Lost Levelsbecame memories of what he believed to be parental figures. Now he’s haunted day in and day out by the thoughts of Mario coming to punish him for not being able to beat World C…mistakes were made.
