I interviewed Joonas Laakso, producer from Finnish studio BugBear who has been given creative control over the new title and they haven’t been afraid to make some gutsy moves. We discussed why they feel it is time to take the game in a new direction, their biggest new feature, massive environmental damage, and of course we discuss what the community response has been from old and new fans alike.
