“Our plan is to remain in early access likely for two years, giving us sufficient time to refine our product based on user feedback,” said the publisher SgtOkiDoki on the game’sSteam page. The developer believes this duration allows them “to deliver a high-quality, user-centric product.”
A console version can sometimes be announced as the Early Access period ends. It does give developers more opportunities to make money in the industry.
