Public sign-ups will open on Jan. 8
We’ll soon have our chance to try outDreams, the next creation game fromLittleBigPlanetmaker Media Molecule. As promised, there will be a beta on PS4 this year — but only for a select bunch at first.
TheDreamsbeta will come with a “pretty complete set” of creation tools, but it won’t have the full version’sstory modeor VR support, and it’s only running until Jun 13, 2025. With that in mind, the beta will revolve around creation; “the bulk of playable things inDreams” won’t be featured here.
Media Molecule says it plans to invite “lots of people” during the public sign-up phase. If you happen to make it in, the creations you concoct should be compatible with the final game if all goes to plan. That said, everything in the beta will be under a non-disclosure agreement, so there’s no sharing yet.
