‘The ultimate all-in-one home entertainment system’

During itsXbox reveal eventtoday in Redmond, Microsoft unveiled the first details on its new home console. It’s called the — wait for it — Xbox One. Didn’t see that one coming, now did you? No real launch window was confirmed other than “later this year.”

President of interactive entertainment Don Mattrick said that “team Xbox is on a new mission: design and build an all-in-one system,” one with “hardware, software, and services that put you at the center.” He says that “at its very core it must be simple, instant, and complete.”
