Get both Kombat Packs for cheap-ish

It’s been a few months now since the second Kombat Pack forMortal Kombat Xwas revealed, and while we’ve known which characters will appear in the DLC pack since last month, today Warner Bros. finally told us how much we’ll have to pay to get our hands on them.

When Kombat Pack 1 was announced, it didn’t sit entirely well with our ownChris Carter. One issue a lot of people had with it was the price. $30 for four character may not have seemed like the best bang for your buck. Kombat Pack 2 won’t set you back as much. When it launches on March 1, you’ll get access to the four new characters, as well as Goro if you didn’t already purchase him, for just $19.99. For those not wanting to do the math, that’s $110 plus tax if you bought the game at launch and purchase both Kombat Packs individually.

If you decided to play the waiting game and didn’t immediately jump on Kombat Pack 1, your patience is paying off. The XL Pack, which contains both packs of characters and costumes, will only set you back $24.99. If you don’t own the game at all, you can get everything inMortal Kombat XLfor $59.99.

In addition to all of the characters, both Kombat Packs will also net you a bunch of costumes including the Apocalypse Pack. One costume it won’t get you: the Gold Scorpion costume, which was only available to people who purchased the Kollector’s Edition. That sucks, because of course it’s the only goddamn costume I want!
