Last week, we heardrumorof a newCastlevaniaon the way for 3DS entitled “Mirror of Fate.” The latest issue ofNintendo Powerconfirms that rumor, yet it also indirectly confirms thatLords of Shadow 2is coming along as well.
The full 3DS game’s title isCastlevania: Lords of Shadow – Mirror of Fate. Similar to howPower of Illusionhas ties toEpic Mickey 2, the events ofMirror of Fatewill lead toLords of Shadow 2.LoS2doesn’t have an announced platform yet, though it will most likely be on PS3 and Xbox 360 again, and quite possibly Wii U, I would assume.
As forMirror of Fate, it stars Trevor Belmont ofCastlevania IIIfame. He fights with a version ofLoShero Gabriel Belmont’s Combat Cross, and the game is looking to be a 2.5D affair. We’ll deliver more details as they emerge.
