Iwata claims that this is the Year of Luigi, but I’m starting to think it’s the Year of Nicolas Cage. First came thatMajora’s Masktexture hackthat slaps his mug on every surface imaginable, and now comes thisnew tumblrthat promises to place thechocolate cake-craving maniacin the role of all 151 first-generation Pokémon. It’s the simplest thing to just quickly doodle a critter, erase its face, then replace it with sweet Cage-y goodness, but the results are oh so tasty.
Only the first 16 Pokés have been finished thus far. If the blog becomes popular enough, the artist promises to go beyond the original 151 and all the way through to thePokémon X/Ycast — once they are finally revealed of course.
