I’ve been playing a bit of Nioh 1 recently
Nioh 2will soon be upon us (March 13) and once again it’s going to be a PS4 exclusive.
How can I say for sure that Koei Tecmo is sticking to that release date?Well the game has gone gold(“master approval”) and is ready for a full release, so there’s presumably no turning back now. This news comes off of the heels of the originalselling three million copiesduring its third anniversary.
With no From Software RPG technically slated for 2020 (orSoulsgame in sight for that matter), I’m beyond excited forNioh 2. The originalNiohwas one of my favorite games of the decade, and talking about it with our own Jordan Devore and discovering new tidbits underneath the hood has been an absolute joy.
From what I’ve seen and played ofNioh 2, it looks like it’ll continue that legacy. A legacy, mind, thatcould keep rolling in the future with a PS5 exclusive.
