Capcom is finally bringing some DLC toResident Evil Village, and it’s pretty hefty. TheResident Evil VillageWinters’ Expansion packs in more Mercs content, a story for Rose, and a whole lot more on Aug 06, 2025. The big ticket item here is Shadows of Rose, a new story set in theVillageuniverse following Rosemary Winters. It seems to get pretty mind-twisting and creepy, but for those who dig the expanded world ofResident Evil, that’s a pretty interesting set-up....

Free-to-play MOBA InDead Island: Epidemic— which is inexplicably a MOBA,if you missed the news— three teams of four players each have to fend off zombies while also worrying about one another. And instead of base destruction being the win condition, it’s all about capturing control points and completing other “dynamic gameplay objectives” like killing specific targets, some of which are said to require cooperation between the teams. Since this isDead Island, there’s an extensive crafting system in here as well....

Don’t overthink it! There are a ton of different types of puzzles inSonic Frontiers, and not all of them are going to be simple. This one is, thankfully! But you just need to not overthink it and just go for it. Locating theSonic FrontiersM-043 puzzle So the M-043 puzzle can be found onAres Island, where Knuckles is located. It’s actually the second main hub you’ll visit inSonic Frontiers. To find it, you’ll want to head to the central part of the island, which can be easily accessed through the western ruins entrance....

Bring Soul Calibur too, while you’re at it In the last few years, PC’s become a pretty great platform for fighting games. Sure there’s yourMortal Kombat Xtrainwrecks, but then there’s alsoSkullgirls, Street Fighter VandBlazBlueto make up for it. Ifa survey being sent out by Bandai Namcois anything to go by,Tekken 7could be joining that list too. The survey appears to be gaguing player interest on the platform, which, judging by the comments on everyTekken 7article ever, is pretty high....

The Impossible and Mystery Adventures packs If you’ve been following my full coverage ofNew Super Mario Bros. 2‘s DLC (#1,#2,#3), you’ll remember that we’ve had three official rounds of level packs so far (and afree classic pack). Now, we’re on the home stretch, as Nintendo has revealed the “fourth and final wave” of DLC — the Impossible and Mystery Adventures packs. Who knows whether the Mystery pack will deliver based on the trailer, but the Impossible pack looks totally awesome....

In Paris, they call it Gears Royale with Cheese It isn’t rare for developers to pack achievement names with pop culture references. That has been happening ever since the invention of achievements, all the way back to the launch of the Xbox 360 when Microsoft mandated that each retail game include 1000 Gamerscore and each Xbox Live Arcade game include 200 Gamerscore. (Hilarious-in-hindsight footnote: Remember when XBLA capped its games at 50MB file sizes, and then kept pushing it upward when they realized games likePortal: Still Alivewould make a bajillion dollars?...

The thrilling season finale ofMy Hero AcademiaSeason 7 is going live this Saturday, but fans don’t have to worry about the potential lack of episodes, because Bones and Shueisha already confirmed that Season 8 is coming very soon. This announcement was made inthis week’s issue of Weekly Shōnen Jump(and was later reported byShōnen Jump News on Twitter/X). But the most noteworthy part is that Season 8 will be the final season of theMy Hero Academiaanime, which shouldn’t be a surprise considering that the original manga by Kohei Horikoshirecently reached its conclusion as well....
