It’s got a charming art style and pretty easy-to-manage tools for building the perfect park....

Did anyone else notice that creature in the corner? Yo-Kai Watch 4was going through some growing pains last year, but after a seasonal delay it seems like the game is back on track. Box art is locked in, it’s still a Switch exclusive, and it’s set for a June 6 release, just in time for E3 excitement season. Before that rolls around though (and folks all over the world look to import it, given our western-less time frame), 4Gamer gave us a look at what’s to come....

It’s a lot easier to find amazing fan creations from a series likeZelda. It’s withstood the test of time, garnered fans from multiple decades, and has permeated pop culture to the point where a lot of people will at least recognize Link, the Triforce, or Hyrule Castle in some fashion. I’m glad that Nintendo has deemedThe Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakeningworthy of popping up every now and then. While it could have easily been a goofy one-off and never referenced again, they saw fit to create a Game Boy Color port (ports were a rare feat for theZeldaseries outside of a few entries back then) and bring it back with a 3DS re-release....

At first, I was skeptical about the combination of a love story and combat, butLove and Deepspacecaptivated me with its engaging gameplay. Now, I can’t wait to play it all over again! While looking for the love of your life and simultaneously fighting around the universe, you need resources....

It doesn’t look like poop When Activision pulled the lid offTeenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows, we admired the combat butsneeredat the Turtles’ grim-dark makeovers. Then Steven Hansenchecked outa preview build, and we all became just a little bit more curious. Now with a new trailer to gawk at, I can personally say I am on board. This latest footage focuses on Michelangelo’s unique fighting style, and I’m surprised by just how fluid and varied it is....

I can’t go back, can I? Everyone loves a good choice-based game. They’re simple, but often very effective in allowing us to interact with the game’s world in a more substantial way. Of course, they also present a pretty difficult design challenge, because writers have to make sure the players know what they’re getting themselves into with just a few words, often known as the preview text. Preview text is obviously a necessity, because there’s no way you may fit all of the text you need into a little tiny button for the player to press, but it can sometimes cause the player some problems....

No hints as to what that content could be though I had a great time withMonacofor weeks on end after launch, and was kind of disapointed that it didn’t seem to catch on with a mass audience. Was it the Xbox Live delay? Or perhaps it was the learning curve, preventing people from jumping in online on PC? We may never know, but it’s nice that the game is still being supported....

Reasons why you should play this game: Seriously, did I have to keep typing after “you play as aTremor“? Because of the clever level design, you’re not restricted to just playing in the ground and surfacing for short periods of time. Much like a South African great white shark, you may dive deep, aim for the surface and gain enough momentum to shoot yourself across the sky, over hills, or into different floating island landmasses in the sky....

Tales fans are likely thrilled right around now that they are getting their own version ofDissidiain the form ofTales of VS. Well, Japanese fans, that is. The video after the jump debuted at the recent Tales Of Festival in Japan and shows off all the characters that have been revealed for the game so far. You’ll also get to see basic attacks, Artes and the enviromental traps you can use to gain the advantage over your opponent....

Also, Metroid Prime Trilogy The Wii U eShop is getting more exciting today with the release ofMetroid Prime Trilogyfor $9.99. I still have my lovely hard copy safe with the rest of myMetroidcollection, but considering how rare it is, I’m glad everyone else will get a chance to try these great games out. You’ll also be able to pick upRock ’N Racing Off Road, Frenchy Bird, and Shadow of the Ninja....

Rise of the Robots During today’s Nacon Connect presentation, developer Spiders premiered an early gameplay trailer for its upcoming action-RPGSteelrising.The French developeralso revealed a release windowof June 2022 on PC and next-gen consoles. Set against the backdrop of an alternate French Revolution,Steelrisingsees Aegis, one of the few hopes for the citizens of Paris, engage in heavy metal warfare with the automated armies of King Louis XVI. This first gameplay trailer sees Aegis in battle with several different opponents, with a deliberately paced combat style slightly reminiscent of aSoulstitle — complete with a variety of weapons, long wind-up animations, and both ranged and up-close-and-personal combat styles....

As great as theProfessor Laytongames are (they are really great!), the last four released on the Nintendo DS have been very similar. While the art direction, puzzle-solving gameplay, and surprisingly emotional stories have been stellar, none of the last games really did anything new and shocking to move the series forward. WithProfessor Layton and the Miracle Mask(the series’ first entry on the 3DS), things are definitely changing. And, if the demo I got to play at PAX was any indication, these changes are definitely for the better....
