Sir, we’re going to have to ask you to leave Sir, You Are Being Hunted, the “procedurally-generated British horror in which tweed-wearing robots hunt you for sport,” is on sale for$4 on Steamuntil Tuesday morning. It’s a lovely combination of terrifying and hilarious, like if the xenomorph inAlien: Isolationslipped on a banana peel before eviscerating you and also was British. I’ve not made it very far yet–it takes some working out–but love the tension and menace....

Rockstar has honed in on the stuttering problems Rockstar Games has apologized for the state ofRed Dead Redemption 2on PC. This is the worst news I’ve read in a while. There isn’t much that separates theResident Evilseries from other third-person shooters these days. The one thing the series held true to over the years was its tank controls and “you can’t shoot and walk” routine. Non-fans of the games have complained about the series’ old-school sensibilities for a while now, and it looks like Capcom has finally given in to their whining....

Sony Online Entertainment has revealed that the rawboned villain Scarecrow will make an appearance in the upcomingDC Universe Online. The evildoer will be terrifying the streets of Gotham City with his petrifying, tattered looks and his special brand of “fear gas.” He’s also bringing a machine gun, according to these screens. I suppose when you’re a villain, firearms are always helpful. But I’d imagine that when you’re as horrifying to look at as this guy (and you can make people see killer clowns with some chemical fumes), it’s not exactly key to your arsenal....

First on PC, then consoles Human: Fall Flatis the kind of game I can return to year after year and still adore. Its physical comedy just cracks me up. The co-op puzzle platformerhas gotten a free new level, “Dark,” which is reason enough for me to dive back in. It’s out now on PC, with console owners getting the stage next year. Aside from an eerie theme, Dark revolves around magnets and electricity....
