Coreonline, a new cloud gaming service announced by Square Enix this morning, puts HD games in your browser, letting you play console games in your PC. A combination of Google and Square Enix tech, developed by Hapti.co, makes it possible to get your game in in Chrome, Firefox and IE. I tried it in Safari and it told me to go home (or use Chrome). With Coreonline you’ll be able to click on a level and start playing instantly, from any part of the game you’d like....

It crushed Mario Kart 64 back in the day Shade, shade all around. With the strong rumor floating about thatCrash Team Racingis the nextCrashremake project, I’ve seen a number of “yeah but it’s not as good asMario Kart” sentiments. As my photographic memory flashes back to 1999, I recall pretty much everyone considering it an upgrade compared toMario Kart 64. Four games on one disc We had some idea that theBest of PlayStation Network, Vol. 1was comingdue to an Entertainment Software Rating Board listing, and here it is. Sony has confirmed the disc-based bundle for release at retail on June 16, 2025 for $39.99. We had a chance to check out the Major League Gaming Pro-Circuit Controller from Mad Catz today at CES. This is a pro controller available for PS3 and Xbox 360, and it lets you freely switch out analog sticks, d-pads and more to customize the controller to your liking. Imagine being able to pop out an Xbox 360 style d-pad and switch it out for a PS3 style one. You could also switch the d-pad and analog sticks around to any of the three slots on the controller....

Mad Catz has really been bringing it when it comes to fight sticks in recent years, having developed a great relationship with Capcom and making an effort to listen to the desires of the fighting game community. WithStreet Fighter x Tekkenon the horizon, the accessory maker is at it again with two new sticks to further cement their position as a company that’s serious about making a great controller. ‘Still no one’s done what we were doing” There’s no denying thatKingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning, was a solid action-RPG. It didn’t break the mold by any means, but it was bright, colorful, and served up a satisfying blend of action and loot hoarding. And while I enjoyed my time hacking and slashing to my heart’s content I never once thought the game was leading the charge for the next billion dollar franchise....
