Highlighting what’s good before it’s gone We are several days deep into the first Steam Next Fest of 2023. The event highlights upcoming games, and there’s been a bountiful slew of demos rolling out to show Steam users just what they can expect in the future. Palworld, the lovingly dubbed “Pokémon with guns” game, has taken over the gaming landscape with releases on PC, Xbox Series X|S, and PS5. Guess where my allegiances lie EA Sports has released the first screenshot forNHL 15, and it features San Jose captain Joe Thornton rocking an unimpressive beard, because they’re the Sharks and their long list of playoff flameouts disappoint in both the championship rings and beard departments. Now, this screen could be helped immeasurably if it were of, oh I don’t know, electric Avalanche rookie Nathan MacKinnon. Of course, his presence would beg for a more action-oriented still, rather than just meanly staring at the faceoff circle....
