Diminishing cardboard returns You’re probably wondering why this review ofNintendo Labo – Variety Kitis so late. Well, it was going to be late from the start, since there was no review copy. The new “Battle Rally” update will arrive on PC and PS4 January 21 and offers new activities and new playable characters. Details are weirdly scant, but it appears that the titular Battle Rally will allow players to step into the running shoes of hero Ryo Hazuki, treasure hunter Wuying Ren, or Ryo’s Bailu-village sparring partner, Wei Zhen, as the three compete in a footrace that promises “fresh activities and head-to-head battles....

Let users create assets that can be sold in a marketplace — it makes them happy, obviously, and it gives us what is often professional-quality, creative stuff.
