Mad Catz isn’t done withStreet Fighter IV. Following up on the success of the first batch of themed peripherals, the accessory provider is releasing a second “round” of Fight Sticks and Fight Pads this fall. The new stuff looks to be structurally and mechanically the same, but new art does grace the tops of these things. No plans of a Standard Edition Fight Stick were revealed in the announcement made this afternoon....

Double Helix explains thier vision There’s beena lot of skepticismcircling around the return ofKiller Instinct. It’s understandable, to be sure, that nervousness would be the natural response to a new developer taking point on a long-dormant series. Krypt Kontroversy Mortal Kombat 11is out and it’spretty damn good. With an overhauled movement system, great character models, another fun – if dopey – story mode and of course, lashings of parent-concerning gore, NetherRealm and Warner Bros. have deliveredan exciting, solid fighting title. However, it’s not all roses and intestines, due toMK 11‘s adherence a miserly and convoluted grind/unlock system. This mechanic, summarised, involves multiple forms of in-game currency, a randomised Krypt, unbelievably unfair Towers of Time battles, a rotational in-game store, countless filler items and, of course, microtransactions....

Sequel stays true to its roots with four-player co-op We learned a few days agoDungeon Defenders IIwould have anew competitive MOBA modebut today we had the reveal trailer for the traditional four-player co-op that hooked me and friends so well. It looks like we’ll be playing the adult versions of the characters we know and loved in the familiar tower defense style. As previously mentioned, the game is split into two parts, with the co-op mode launching in late 2013 or early 2014....
