Wild Hearts will be published under the EA Originals banner Do you wish more games followed in the footsteps ofMonster Hunter, especially after big-budget hits likeMonster Hunter: WorldandIceborne? While Capcom has been on fire, there’s room for more, and EA of all companies is making a move with Omega Force. The focus on community While we were walking the halls of Blizzard’s headquarters last week, attending anOverwatchpreview event, one rule was laid out for press — “if it’s on tile, you’re able to take pictures; if you’re on carpet, don’t do it.” As luck would have it, multiple references to Destructoid among the halls were on carpet, so I couldn’t capture them to share with you all. But there’s one thing that really stood out to me that I’ve been thinking about for the past week — the focus on community....

So, NECA is still doing that whole “let’s make toys based on videogames” thing. Good on them! In addition to a Sam Fisher figure modeled after his appearance inSplinter Cell: Conviction,which we coveredyesterday, we can look forward to a Claptrap toy. It’s a mere 4″ in height, and includes a base of some sort that allows it to drop phrases from the game....

Basically a steal… It seems likePayday 2just won’t go away. After a surprise announcement for the Switch, Overkill Software is now giving the PC version an “Ultimate” edition. It’s about time PlayStation put games preservation at the forefront As the games industry continues to get older, and suddenly hundreds of games are being lost to history, the conversation surrounding games preservation has become more and more prevalent. While Xbox and Nintendo have made strides toward preservation (as minimal as they may be), PlayStation hasn’t much ventured into the discipline — until now....

As is the case with each new generation ofPokémon games, there’s going to be a third version to round out the newest set; except this time it’s a thirdandfourth. Seriously though, if trading and battling make it in, I’m sure it’ll spur people back into action (myself included). Despite the poor tracking system and spawn point setups, if you can trade, it’ll be everything in a populated era, and create more social gatherings like the early days....

Tons of new features Sony is gearing up for their system software 3.0 update, and you can check out some of the new features now. To sum things up, you can share clips to Twitter now, PlayStation Plus is getting a dedicated section, YouTube Live is getting an icon, PGN screenshots are now possible, you can create communities now, there’s a new event hub, messages have been improved, and stickers (emojis) are a thing....

A slim start with huge potential Ravenswatchwas really not on my radar prior to this weekend. I’d heard some rumblings here and there, but after a few friends talked me into it and I saw the fairly cheap price tag, I figured I’d give it a shot.
