More developer commentary Final Fantasy XIVis nearly here, and yet another developer commentary video has hit the net. If you’re curious as to how the game works, this is probably the most informative video yet, as the developers go over pretty much every party role possible. The schedule is a bit kooky In case you haven’t noticed, a lot of industries are in disarray at the moment. Zero went a little overboard ThinkGeek has been almost bankrolling Capcom for the past five years or so, licensing a ton of different Blue Bomber merch. Their newest invention is aMega Mancookie jar, which is shaped like a Mega Buster. But given that it’s ceramic, and is meant to be placed upright, it looks more like an urn. Still, at $34.99, that’s not a terrible price. I don’t have the space for it and I’m more of a pie maker than a cake/cookie guy, but it’s a decent enough Christmas gift....

I’m really interested in seeing how Ryu Ga Gotoku fares long term Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio, better known to some as the “Yakuzadeveloper,” has been around in some form for several decades. They’ve become a fixture at Sega, and whenever they announce a game, time stops for a moment. TheYakuzastudio’s future is uncertain,especially with a change in leadership recently, but they’re still planning on sailing full speed ahead. As a reminder, producers Toshihiro Nagoshi (the face of theYakuzafranchise) and Daisuke Sato left the company, leaving producer/writer Masayoshi Yokoyama in charge....

What a great character Wario games are legendary. They sum up Nintendo’s goofier side, and many projects, which wouldn’t have otherwise gotten the greenlight, were made possible because of Wario’s involvement. He’s one of my favorite characters that the publisher has ever created, and this new Did You Know Gaming episode celebrates his history. In addition to going through the traditional platformers Wario has appeared in, they also exploreGame & Wario, including the fact that they started the project without the involvement of their supervisor, and just kind of sprung it on him when it was finished....

Pikachu is baby Jasmine’s FAVORITE character. So, for Halloween me and @laurenhashianofficial decided the real life Pikachu was gonna come to the house for a visit. What Pikachu didn’t know was that Jazzy would start crying when he stopped dancing and demanded he continue to shake his tail with a loud “EH!”. So, Pikachu danced over.. and over.. and over.. and over… and over.. again. By the time I dropped my 197th JuJu, the heat of this costume was kickin’ my ass....

The launch madness has finally come to an end. The Wii is out.Zeldais out. People are playing it and loving it, and it’s being hailed as one of the greatest games of all time. Again. This couldn’t have been an easy accomplishment for Nintendo. One of the things they promised fans of the franchise – among others – was a good challenge. And have they delivered? It certainly looks like it....
