Although PS4 players will have some sort of perk Activision’s insistence on orchestrating timed-exclusive DLC seemed like one of those things that was bound to mildly annoy us until the end of time, but at least in the case of this year’sCall of Duty: Modern Warfare, there’s some respite. Given the cross-play nature of the game, Activision has committed to releasing “most post-launch gameplay content” simultaneously on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One....

Today, they’re boasting six million: that’s a growth of two million players in five days. Developer Phoenix Labs has confirmed to Destructoid that the six million player count is “double” what the game was at in its PC open beta, which makes perfect sense when you account for opening up a free-to-play title on both PS4 and Xbox One at the same time....

Blizzard has issued a new hotfix forDiablo IIIthat improves the rate of high-end loot drops in the Hell and Inferno difficulty modes. Hopefully those instances spent fighting total asshole monsters won’t be rewarded with a slew ofutter crap. At least, not so much now. Boss will also definitely drop a rare item for any player with four stacks of Nephalem Valor and at least two rare items for five stacks. The fix is rounded out with a few fixes that can allbe viewed right here....

They’ve signed a deal with English Premier League team Manchester City to deliver exclusive, club-specific content to fans withFIFA 12.
