ESO Best One Bar PvE Magicka Sorcerer Build (Elder Scrolls Online)

Elder Scrolls Onlinehas a great deal of customization options among its classes, so it can be overwhelming. It uses a dual bar system where you can quickly swap between weapons and skillsets at the press of a button. But that’s just more complications. Thankfully you can create builds that just use one bar, like this one bar PvE Magicka Sorcerer Build. There isn’t really one single “one bar” build. Finding out the best one that works for you is often a matter of experimentation....

These can include anything from a specific scene or moment, a character, a weapon or item, a level or location, a part of the soundtrack, a gameplay mechanic, a line of dialogue, or anything else about the game that is particularly noteworthy and/or awesome. This series will no doubt contain spoilers for the games being discussed, so keep that in mind if you plan on playing the game for the first time....

Experiencing the Art of the Assassin

Last night, a downtown Los Angeles gallery hostedArt of the Assassin, a collection of art pieces inspired by Ubisoft’s upcomingAssassin’s Creed III. I was lucky enough to attend, and had a really great time! I got to play a demo of the game (looks amazing, by the way), meet members of the development team, and check out some of the cool art. All in all, a very fun night. You can check out some pictures I took of the event in the gallery....

Fox News proves that braggarts finish last (sometimes)

I’ve been gaming since the reign of Atari, and I’ve probably done some thoughtless things along the way. However, not once did I ever have the urge to call one of my buddies late at night to brag about my exploits. Judging by thisstoryon Fox News, someone else could’ve put some more thought into their own nocturnal ramblings. As the story goes, some guy playing an unnamed Xbox 360 game had just accomplished whatever it was that he was looking to do, and decided to let his friends know about it....

GDC 2007: Morning after pills (June 30, 2025)

• Phil Harrison quite possibly turned theSony shiparound with a keynote that led to a standing applause at one point. • Walking the show floor is nothing like walking the show floor at E3. Less booth babes, more information. •Calling all Carsfor the PlayStation Network is fun as hell. I pretty much pwned Niero in a game — I believe the final score was something like 26-3. • The GameSpy party was kinda nice last night....

Goat Simulator takes to space

Goat Simulator Waste of Space expansion Goat Simulator‘s latest expansion takes place on a scam, crowdfunded space colony; an Arnold Schwarzenegger impersonator (narrating the trailer); aStar Wars: The Force Awakensjoke; a 69 joke; a #MakeSpaceGreatAgain (picking up the mantle from Paradox’sStellaris). I guess this is what people mean when they say “shitposting,” but in video game form? I don’t know, but it looks amusing. TheWaste of Spaceexpansion is being made by Gone North Games, the studio that made theGoatZexpansion, and is due out on PC, iOS, Android and Amazon....

Gravity Ghost is headed to PS4 with some new content

Erin Robinson’s first console game Gravity Ghostreleased early this year, and I thought it was a touching tale alongside its entertaining zen gameplay. Though it was well received critically, its audience has been limited to those playing on PCs. Soon, that potential audience will grow, as the physics platformer will be making its way to the PlayStation 4. The PS4 version will come with a sampling of new content to supplement what we have already seen: a new set of challenge levels, three additional musical tracks by Ben Prunty (FTL: Faster Than Light), and an unlockable playable character....

Grid Autosport’s Switch trailer boasts ‘freedom of control’

Tilt controls are the new black WhenGrid Autosportwas announced for Switch, the first question on many peoples minds was, “How does it control?” For those unaware, the Switch Joy-Con do not have analog triggers, which is crucial for controlling a racing game (especially a simulation one). How were Codemasters and Feral Interactive going to work around the limitation of Nintendo’s chosen input device? It turns out that giving players complete freedom to customize their controls would be it....

Help! I can’t stop playing 2048

Similar to Threes, but different This week’s addictive browser game that I can’t seem to quit is2048, a sliding tiles game where you attempt to match numbers to multiply their value. The ultimate goal is to get a tile that’s worth 2048 without having completely filled the four by four area the game takes place on. It takes just a little bit to figure out how it plays, but after that passes,2048is an increasingly maddening affair of space-clearing and number-enhancing....
