As it turns out,Palworldisn’t just a mere shock-valuePokemonclonethat some might’ve expected it to be. Though visually ridiculous, there’s merit inPalworld‘s layered gameplay systems, and much to enjoy and discover. Fusion Pals, for example, are particularly noteworthy for how cool and powerful they are.
Palworld‘s Fusion Pals are precisely what it says on the tin: Pals that you get by combining (i.e.breeding) twodifferent types of baseline Palsinto one creature. Indeed, unlike its face-value inspiration,Palworlddoes not allow you to evolve your Pals beyond their given form. Instead, you get to level them up and, once you reach a certain point, breed them together.
Now, Pal breeding is one ofPalworld‘s most noteworthy creature progression mechanics, as your Pals’ offspring inherits the active and passive abilities of its parents. The Pals you’re trying to breed together don’t even need to be of the same species! In most cases, the youngling Pal will also inherit one of its parents’ species instead. However, in some very specific situations, you may end up getting an entirely new Pal species instead.
How to get Fusion Pals in Palworld?
Indeed, these “entirely new Pal species” are Fusion Pals themselves. Fusion Pals are often extremely powerful creatures with capabilities that go far beyond those of their parents. For example, the gargantuan Mammorest can breed with an Ice-type Pal to deliver the Mammorest Cryst: a souped-up Ice-type Mammorest variant.
All of the discovered Fusion Pals work on the same principle, too: you need a specific type of high-end Pal and combine them with any Pal of a particular elemental affinity. Not every Pal is compatible in this manner, of course, though it’s very probable that more Fusion Pals will get implemented as time goes on.Palworldis an Early Access game, after all.
Full list of discovered Palworld Fusion Pals
At this time, there is a grand total of 24 unique Fusion Pals discovered inPalworld. Getting all two dozen of these monsters is no mean feat, however, and you should expect this task to take quite a long while, as many of the necessary baseline Pals are fairly rare in their own right. Here’s the full list of discovered Fusion Pals, as of June 24, 2025:
You may notice that, in many of these cases, the resultant Fusion Pal gets an affinity for an element that it is naturally weak against. Jormuntide, for one, is a potent water-based serpent that, when bred with a Fire-based Pal, results in a superpowered flame serpent. In other words, the entire system is a welcome endgame-tier addition to the game, and discovering all-new Pals should, ideally, be both fascinatingandrewarding as the game’s Early Access production moves on.
And, thankfully, this entire feature does not take into account the fact thatyou can capture human beingsinPalworldas well. That’s… uh, fridge horror in the making right there, eh?
