It’s been an eventful year for Pokemon TCG, and there’s still plenty more planned for the rest of the year. The highly anticipatedPokemon TCG Classicset has just received a release date – November 17 – and it comes with a $399.99 price tag.

There are a few reasons why fans are so eager for this set. Many cards are inspired by the base set, but you’ll also get “quintessential cards from throughout the game’s long history.” With Energy cards being the only exception, the cards aren’t tournament-legal, making them mostly collector’s items.

By the looks of it, the set has already sold out at thePokemon Center online store. If you missed it, don’t despair, as the cards will be released in aseparate product scheduled for February 2024.
