In honor of a “mystery” XBLA and PSN release next week, Sega’s let loose a new trailer on us.Sega Bass Fishingis being re-released next week, meaning it’s no longer exclusive to theDreamcast Collection. People are probably scoffing at the game now, but it was actually pretty popular back in its day. If there’s been a really successful fishing game since this one I don’t really know about it. I’ll admit the last times I ever fished in a game wereSonic AdventureandOcarina of Time.
For those curious the game is very 90’s arcade in structure. You choose from 16 lures and 8 locations, then compete in one of four tournaments which are essentially the game’s stages. I remember this game being alright, though I would have been really happy to getSega Rally 2instead. Anyone plan to pick it up?
