There’s a new way to collect free Primogems, as Hoyoverse just added more third-party integration toGenshin Impactaccounts. If you use Discord, you can now link your Discord and HoYo accounts to earn in-game rewards.
For Travelers looking to save even more toward the nextGenshin Impactbanner, you may score 30 Primogems by linking the two accounts together, in addition to a few other perks of convenience.
What does linkingGenshin Impactand Discord do?
When you link yourGenshin Impactaccount to Discord, you’ll be able to display in-game stats on your Discord profile. For now, this just includes your in-game nickname, Adventure Rank, server, and how long you’ve been playing your current session. HoYoverse has teased more features in the future, but as of now, this is pretty much it.

There are two links in addition to your in-game stats, but these just take you to the download page forGenshin Impactand the page where you can link your accounts. Contrary to what the announcement’s wording implies, you can’t actually invite your friends to join your world through Discord.
As for yourGenshinaccount, you’ll receive the one-time in-game mail containing30 Primogems.After you link your accounts, click the button to send the rewards to your account. Make sure you log intoGenshin Impactand collect your mail before it expires.

Troubleshooting
If you’ve gone through the steps above, and you don’t see yourGenshin Impactinformation on your profile, there are a couple of steps you can take to remedy the problem.
First off, the linking was probably successful, even if you don’t see your own fancy profile. I wasn’t able to see the additional information on my profile in Discord’s desktop app, but my friends were able to see it just fine. I was also able to see the information when viewing my profile on Discord’s mobile app or inDiscord’s browser version. If you got your in-game mail with your 30 Primogems, the process probably worked.
If you or your friends still can’t see your in-game information when you playGenshin Impact, go to your Discord user settings, then Authorized Apps. Check to see if Katheryne has the authorization she needs to work. If all else fails, tryunlinking and re-linkingyour account. You can also try updating Discord by force-closing and restarting the app.
