A remasteredSonic the Hedgehog 2is launching onAndroidon December 13. It comes from the team that created the engine used in the excellentSonic CDport from a few years ago. Even cooler, it will include a finished, playable version of the scrapped Hidden Palace Zone, the remnants of which originally appeared as downloadable prototypes. Now we get the full thing.
TheiOS versionof the game is also getting a free update that replaces the original port and includes the Hidden Palace Zone.
Certainly something I’d like to see and play on a device that isn’t a mobile phone. I guess the best option is controller attachments, unless these somehow play well with touch controls.
