Sony Interactive Entertainment Japan Asia held its annual PlayStation Awards ceremony, celebrating the highest-selling titles of the year, (regardless of their year of release), across the Japanese and Asian markets.

As per usual, Platinum and Gold awards were offered to the big sellers, while special awards were handed out for markets such as online-only sales and VR and indie releases. While nothing quite hit the insanity of last year –where Capcom’sMonster Hunter: WorldwentQuadruple Platinum–  there were still plenty of heavy-hitters collecting gongs.
